This growth came after a softer EV market in Europe in 2024 and continued as the market recovered in 2025. The business grew because more partners connected, more drivers charged, and more sessions flowed through the network each month.
Where the demand comes from
Plugsurfing aggregates charging demand from multiple sources: carmaker partnerships with Polestar, Renault, XPENG, ZEEKR, Stellantis brands, and more. Fleet programs through, for example, Ayvens and Travelcard. White-label apps and Drive API integrations for mobility platforms. And Roam OCPI, which gives charge point operators with their own apps roaming reach through a single connection.
That aggregated demand creates a cycle that benefits the whole network. More demand means more sessions for charge point operators. More sessions mean better utilization. Better utilization means better commercial terms. And better terms attract more partners.
