From 1 October, Polestar Charge moves from one flat subscription to two tiers: Polestar Charge Plus with a 15 percent charging discount, and Polestar Charge Pro with 30 percent. Free Polestar Charge access stays free, and current subscribers move to Pro automatically.
From 1 October, Polestar Charge is moving from one flat subscription to two flexible tiers: Polestar Charge Plus and Polestar Charge Pro. Instead of a single fixed plan, you choose the discount level that matches how you charge in public.
Charge occasionally? Plus keeps your costs low. Charge often, or drive long distances? Pro gives you the bigger discount. Either way, you decide.
Two tiers, one flexible choice
Polestar Charge Plus gives you a 15 percent charging discount on a selected set of charging networks in your market. It's ideal if you charge in public every month. Monthly subscription, cancel anytime.
Polestar Charge Pro gives you a 30 percent charging discount on a larger set of selected charging networks in your market. It's the best value if you charge often or drive long distances. Monthly subscription, cancel anytime.
Already subscribed?
If you already have a Polestar Charge subscription, there's nothing you need to do. From 1 October, you'll automatically move to Polestar Charge Pro, keeping the same 30 percent discount and IONITY access you have today, plus one more charging network.
If you'd rather have Polestar Charge Plus, cancel your Polestar Charge Pro subscription in the app, then subscribe to Polestar Charge Plus, available from 1 October. Don't want a subscription at all? You can cancel anytime in the app.

What stays the same
Free Polestar Charge access isn't going anywhere. Your card, the app, and access to over 1 million charge points stay free, with no subscription required. Plug & Charge and in-car Google Maps integration are still built in too.
How to subscribe
From 1 October, open the Polestar Charge app, go to Subscription, and pick the plan that fits you best.
