Convenient fast charging at Sainsbury’s
Sainsbury’s is the second-biggest supermarket chain in the UK. Last year, the company introduced Smart Charge, an ultra-rapid EV charging brand. Smart Charge currently features 575 high-speed 150kW charge points at 70 Sainsbury’s locations across the UK.
You can now see and access all Sainsbury’s Smart Charge locations with your Plugsurfing app, shop while you charge, and collect Nectar points for your charging.
Topping up at Sainsbury’s is a perfect example of integrating EV charging into your routine. With convenient chargers you can use while running errands, you don’t have to go out of your way to charge your car.
NOTE: Smart Charge now supports remote start & stop. You can start a charging session with your Plugsurfing app and charging card, or any other charging solutions powered by us, e.g. Polestar Charge and My Renault.

Plugsurfing users can also earn Nectar points with every charge at Sainsbury’s locations.

- Use your phone’s QR code reader to scan the code on the Smart Charge unit
